New Season, New Beauty Routine!

New Season, New Beauty Routine!

The start of spring is one of the most beautiful time of the year and our skin revels in soaking up some long-awaited rays.

While our skin requires richer, more oil-based skincare during winter as it tends to be on the drier side, spring welcomes a lighter, yet still hydrating, version of beauty care products.

Normal to oily skin types will gravitate to milder, hydrating creams that are less greasy during spring. If your skin is on the drier side, we suggest sticking to richer formulas. Be sure that the water used to cleanse the skin is lukewarm as opposed to scorching hot as the latter tends to dry out and irritate the skin.

Accommodating the skin during this transition time - from winter to summer and vice versa - helps with the regeneration process on a daily basis after having taken on strenuous factors such as the switch between freezing cold temperatures outdoors and heated, dehydrated interiors.

Our face especially frequently encounters moisture-loss during springtime because during the preceding months this area of the body was mostly deprived of moisture and needed oils. This state is intensified thanks to cold outdoor temperatures and dehydrated interior spaces.
