Preparation:

• Remove make-up and gently pat the skin dry.
• Massage the face lightly with your hands to relieve any tension.
• Apply a facial oil to facilitate gliding the gua sha on the skin.

Application:

1. Start with slow strokes from the centre of the chest to the sides to loosen up.
2. Stroke down the neck with light pressure.
3. With a little more pressure, but still gently, stroke upwards and to the sides of the face, eyes and forehead.
